The Role
I was given a substantial project which allowed me to gain knowledge of the entire department. I also felt that I was making an impact by completing the project
The project effects everyone within my team and I have worked to try and make their processes more efficient
My manager was very good at explaining and aiding not just in my project but with any questions I had to ask.
I found even during slower periods I was always able to find work to do and hence never felt bored.
I was given a lot of freedom to come up with my own solutions to the objectives set
The knowledge I've gained will definitely help with a career in this industry
The Company
My department was friendly but also focused on their daily tasks
The intern specific events were very well organised; however, how much / what level of work people were given once they got to their departments greatly differ. Luckily I believe mine was well organised.
We were treated to several events throughout the internship plus there was a lot of personal and industry training organised
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
I would like to continue working for UBS
The Culture
The other interns were really friendly and actively tried to organise social events independent of UBS.
I have lived and socialised here for the past year and hence noticed no change.
Meeting new people actually introduced me to new parts of London I had not previously seen / gone to
This was more organised independently to UBS
