The Role
I really enjoyed my placement - despite not always having enough work to do. The team were very friendly and I was in my team at a really exciting period so I felt very lucky to be involved.
My team were very friendly and welcoming - I felt like one of the team instantly.
Everyone in the team was happy to sit down and talk me through their roles and responsibilities. If ever I needed help on anything everyone was willing to assist me - I believe this culture of people being willing to help and support interns is widely seen throughout LBG and is a huge benefit of working here.
I would have liked more work to do. I feel that sometimes you are promised a lot of responsiblities and work to do but in reality I didn't get it. Also the work comes in waves - sometimes I was really busy which I enjoyed and sometimes I found myself very bored.
I hada degree of responsiblity however someone within the team usually checked my work before it went out - although I usually asked people to do this to ensure that I didn't make errors.
I feel that I can apply my skills learnt to my Business Management degree very easily. Moreover basic business skills and processes can be applied to future jobs.
The Company
I really enjoyed the atmosphere as everyone was very friendly and welcoming and we all socialised.
Very well organised.
My line manager encouraged me to visit many areas of the business and I had travel booked for me to visit other offices in order to widen my knowledge of the business area.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Due to the company culture I am very interested to work in the business following University.
The Culture
We socialised often.
I was living and socialising in London and therefore it was very expensive although we are given a London living allowance which helps towards these costs.
Very fun.
Not sure.
