The Role
Lots of support given fairly regularly, and there were people to ask for help where I got stuck
Very occasionally short of work but otherwise was a perfect balance.
Was given reasonably complicated tasks to undertake by myself.
Learnt a lot about various aspects of programming and testing, and gained a lot of practice in clean coding.
The Company
Friendly, relaxed atmosphere with frequent games of table football/tennis
Plenty of time spent working out goals and how to work towards them.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
The Culture
Saw the other interns reasonably often inside and outside of work
Cheaper than most places.
Lots of clubs and regular activities
