The Role
Great people, wanted me to develop and keen to give me experience.
They trusted me with work and let me know when I was doing well or needed tp pick up a little bit.
Always there on hand to talk to when I needed it, especially given hard decisions.
Very busy - always given work to do, had a lot of responsibility from early on.
Given a lot from an early stage so was quite impresses.
Definitely gained a lot of skills from the internship - both technical and soft.
The Company
Serious work had to be done, but it was not boring at all. Always talking and laughter.
Pretty well organised, some parts better than others.
A fair amount, could be a little more but we are just interns - they invest a lot in grad program.
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
I got an offer to start straight away
The Culture
Decent - could be a little better but IBD interns are tired a lot of the time.
Reasonable for London, but this is quite expensive.
Good, but didn't really get to experience it.
Yes, went on a charity run with my team. Also a cricket social event at Lord's.
