The Role
The internship provided me with a challenge for the summmer. It was a good opportunity to learn about the financial services industry and take on real responsibility. Also, meeting new people in the organisation and making friends was good too.
Colleagues were very welcoming and friendly. I never felt stupid asking any question. They encouraged questions and they were always very helpful in answering them.
My managers and also HR took an active role in providing feedback for me about my personal performance which was very useful and will help for the future.
There was always something to do and I was always kept busy. If not, taking an interest in projects other team members were carrying out and learning something new was good too.
Given alot of responsibility and also ongoing support and assistance when I needed it.
Received training on topics such as leadership and presentation skills in graduate masterclasses. I also learned about business process management and how to apply it. Learned invaluable skills which will help me in the future.
