The Role
I enjoyed my internship thoroughly, as my colleagues and peers were always amiable and approachable.
My line manager and colleagues were always willing to help and answer any questions I may have.
I think you have to take the initiative to take up more responsibility.
Interns were provided with a lot of training and there were several networking sessions organised. Through these, I have honed my interpersonal skills, presentation skills and the ability to network which are essential in the work environment in future.
The Company
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Very. The organisation has an extremely supportive culture, with plenty of development opportunities.
The Culture
Moderate. The food at the in-house restaurant, while subsidised, is not exactly that cheap. The restaurants around the area all generally pricey as well.
Canary Wharf has a good number of pubs and restaurants to wine and dine or simply unwind with colleagues after a day or week's work.
Quite a number, but more for the full-time staff, naturally.
