The Role
I had a lot of responsabilities and my team involved me right away on all steps of the deals I was working on.
My team was very friendly and from the first day of the internship they considered me as entirely part of the team. I attended all the meetings taking place for the transactions I was working on and they took much time to explain sophisticated elements
For every task I had to do, my managers would explain thoroughly what to do and they were very approachable in the case I had further question on my tasks
I was very busy but this was entirely my decision as I accepted to be involved in many deals at the same time so that I could have a large exposure to the business. My colleagues always asked me if I had enough time before asking me to do a task
After some time, my colleagues started to trust me and involved me further on the transaction process so that I could gain more experience and exposure.
I have never learnt so much in my life and I think this will be key in my future career
The Company
People were very friendly but very professionnal at the same time.
The HR organized the internship very well with a lot of corporate and non-corporate events so that we could network and better understand the organisation of HSBC.
I feel like HSBC hugely invested in me in terms of technical straining, soft skills and networking so that I could become much more efficient if I have to the opportunity to work there.

Company Parties/Events
I truly hope that I will have an offer to work with HSBC at the end of the internship because I really enjoyed working there for 10 weeks.
The Culture
The atmosphere was very good among the summer interns
Very easy
Really good
My team organised many activities outside of work as did the HR.
