The Role
Work varied from being highly technical and interesting to incredibly repetitive and tedious. However, this is to be expected as an Intern and overall I had a good internship experience.
Feedback from my team helped me to continually improve the quality of my work to the point where I felt valued within my department.
My manager, buddy and other team members were always willing to take time out to help me through my work or any questions I had.
I either had a heavy work load or not much at all. This didn't help I joined during the summer where there is less work on.
The work I completed was used by other team members as well as senior management.
Learnt a lot about the industry and my role in general.
The Company
It is busy so there is normally not much 'socialising' , but the team worked well together and everyone was very friendly.
Very good induction week and department specific training, as well as introductions to other areas of the business.
A lot of time was spent giving us the skills needed for our roles (Excel, Powerpoint etc) as well as technical training.
