The Role
Interesting but mentally and physically challenging
All my colleagues in the team respected me and gave me help wherever possible. All work I did was accepted with thanks, and notably appreciated.
Whenever needed, management supported and guided me. I had a piece of work with poor delegation from a slightly different department, and my managers supported me with sorting out the issue.
At times it felt like I had loads to do with people demanding deadlines from me all over the place, and other times I had little to nothing to do - but it was easy to make myself busy with shadowing.
The work I did was useful and helpful, but not a necessity to the workplace.
The knowledge I have learned will undoubtedly help me in my final year of my degree. Interpersonal skills have developed too, and I have earned things about myself - such as what I enjoy, what mentally stimulates me, and what challenges I revel in and which I detest.
The Company
Clear that everyone enjoyed their job and it as a positive place to be.
Well organised by HR - only issue was second rotation organisation.
Invested human and financial capital - hours from employees and training us with skills.
Company Parties/Events
Unknown how I stand and no direct indication how likely a job is, but general feel from colleagues can be an indication. Heavily competitive internship.
The Culture
Among a small group of us, here was a very healthy social scene.
