The Role
I didn't mind the work, hours were long and didn't like working weekends.
I was given responsibility, I was emailing clients and doing real project work
My manager and buddy were really good, whole team realised when I had been worked hard and gave me a break
Some weeks I was really busy, others not so much, but it goes in cycles
Lots, given real work from day one, slowly grew to do more complex things
I think the powerpoint and excel skills will be useful for any job I go into, the excel especially so. The internship showed me how much I can do with my time and what it means to be tired.
The Company
I liked my team but very senior heavy, would be nice to have more juniors
I liked the structure of it, would prefer a rotation
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Appealing
The Culture
Good, hard to find the time but fun when we did all manage to meet up
Quite expensive, obviously covered by the pay but a shock from uni
Not a lot to do, place is fairly deserted after 8pm
Didn't have time to explore this. I know that there are some sports teams etc
