The Role
So helpful, i've learnt so much!
As you are only in a small team its hard to not feel valued! From day one you are given lots of responsibilty.
Loads, even if my manager wasn't in the office she always made sure that i could get in contact if i was in trouble or i had a question.
Every day was very different!!
Lots, and more if you want it!! As your in a small team if my manager wasn't there, it was you doing the work, no-on else!
Lots, i haven't even finished and i feel i could leave now and it would be a very big help!
The Company
Sometimes, quiet, especially Fridays as lot of people work from home, but usually buzzing!
Very well, seems like actually given jobs/projects to do, instead of someone having to find you something to do!
You could do courses, i chose not to, however you can work in different departments to get a feel for that too.
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
I'd love to work for Avis again however i do want to work abroad preferably China, which is one of the main reasons for coming to Avis as its an internation company! Your given the contacts and the opprtunity, it up to you to take it!
The Culture
There aren't actually that main placement students however the office is full of young people so there's always banter or a 'good social scene'.
Its the south, so its not exacly cheap, but i was i managed rent, a gym membership and to save - and obviously to live so its definately managable!
Bracknell's not great but Reading is 20 mins drive and London 30 mins train ride from Reading
Always!!
