The Role
Really good social events.
Team made me feel very inclusive, very nice culture.
Guidance given, everyone's willing to spare you a bit of time if you need help/want to shadow.
I had enough time to undertake shadowing and rotations, had a good balance of work and time to absorb enough information on what employees do daily.
Had relatively large projects to do which were actually used by employees and parts were sent to clients.
Built a solid foundation of the technical knowledge and terms used in the banking industry.
The Company
Very nice culture and fun colleagues. My colleagues were very lively and had such a good worklife balance, better than the interns!
Have a lot of events organised where we can meet new people from different departments. We were given a good foundation during training.
Had a week of training at the beginning, and courses such as technical analysis throughout the internship.
Subsidised Canteen
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Very good opportunities here, good worklife balance and everyone is friendly and helpful.
The Culture
Went out a few times but not enough, good social events organised aswell.
Lots of restaurants, food places and bars around.
Close to everything e.g. Brick Lane and Bank
Took part in volunteering events and an enterprise challenge. Lots of events and programmes were organised throughout the programme.
