    • Great training and experience of what it would be like to be an equity analyst

    • My team were very welcoming and gave me responsibilities straight away. They were always very keen to take me to client meetings and company presentations

    • The junior analyst in my team really put in effort to mentor me through the programme. The rest of the team were also brilliant at giving career advice.

    • Had an ongoing project which kept me busy when there was no urgent deskwork to do.

    • Valuation training will be crucial for whatever I decide to do in the future. It comes in useful in so many walks of life.

    • Very professional, but also very friendly.

    • A huge amount of effort went in to making sure that the programme was well-run.

    • The firm paid for an external vendor to train us in valuation - great investment in our learning.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • We went for drinks very regularly and also people hosted parties for the group on the weekends.

    • Central London - what do you expect?!

    • Pubs and bars always open.
