The Role
The internship was enjoyable, good people and work to get on with
Fellow employees made it clear how important my work was
Good guidance and support whenever I needed it, with frequent 1 2 1's
Busy towards the end, after a slow start
A good amount of responsibility was given for an intern, just about right
The skill set I can take from this internship are applicable elsewhere as well as for Uni
The Company
Quiet at times, however colleagues were always approachable and would have chat with you
Very well structured, good events both in and outside the working day
Nomura put lots of time and money investing in its interns
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Above 25 days holiday
Healthcare from home
Grad job is a possibility
The Culture
Often set up drinks, football after work, as well as some events at weekends
Central London is pricey
Good but expensive
Good chance to do charity work, sports and interests. Some had their own club etc
