The Role
Very much! Learned so much which will be incredibly helpful both studying for my Masters in September and going on to applying for graduate schemes.
Was welcomed into the team, felt the team were supportive of my learning and appreciated the help I gave.
Really great - my supervisor was willing to explain everything to me when I had questions and gave me lots to be getting on with which is what I wanted.
Fairly busy - on a couple of occasions I felt there was a lack of work for me to be doing but I asked members from other teams for extra work, mostly though I was kept busy which was great.
Less so to start off with, but as the internship progressed and the team got to know me I was given more responsibility. I feel there was a really good balance.
Invaluable - I will start my postgraduate studies and my career in a far better position than I would otherwise have done.
The Company
Really friendly atmosphere, people work hard but are always willing to talk and are really approachable which means a fantastic environment to work in.
Well, HR events set up at the start and finish to ease us in, and social events halfway through. Really enjoyed the session with HR during the second week about behaviours/personality.
I think I developed personally just through being here and being part of a team with real responsibilities, so in that respect the company invested in me. More of an experience gaining internship than a training/development one though.

Company Parties/Events
Yet to find out.. either way I've gained experience that will go a really long way in helping get a job next time around.
The Culture
Good social scene with colleagues, got to know some interns well. I think being a shorter internship it was more difficult to build up a big social scene with the interns, but the graduates all know each other well and do things regularly which is really good.
Expensive... used up most of my wages commuting into London so not much left to socialise with!
Didn't really get to experience it, not enough time!
Sports events organised with graduates and other interns, drinks opportunities with colleagues, etc. Plenty of opportunities!
