The Role
I enjoyed the internship a lot, it was very challenging and both interesting at the same time!
The working culture was excellent, as the team were very friendly and supportive!
Yes, I had a lot of contact with my manager and so it helped during the projects I was carrying out!
I was busy everyday, as I had new things to do every day due to peoples questions and queries coming in which I had to attend to.
Given quite a bit of responsibility, as the application I developed went out to production so that it could be used by everyone within the bank.
I have developed a number of my professional skills, as I learnt new technical skills and enhanced my soft skills. I also developed a great deal of business knowledge which will help me in the future.
The Company
The working culture was great. People were really friendly and supportive and always happy to help. Its easy to talk to senior management as well!
Very well organized, lots of social events and a calendar given out so that we know what events have been planned for us before hand.
Many training sessions given, so that we can get a quick background to investment banking. Other than that nothing else.
Company Parties/Events
Not sure at the moment, as haven't had final review but definitely can be considered for the graduate programme from this internship.
The Culture
Yes, as its based in London there is lots of things to do and see and all other interns want to do the same hence there is a good social scene.
Your in central London so cost of living is quite high compared to other cities however we were given a list of good relatively cheap places to stay.
Amazing there's so many bars and clubs in London especially in the city so there's nothing to be bored of.
Many voluntary opportunities available and they encourage you to take part in these hence there are endless opportunities.
