The Role
Really enjoyed it
Felt I was adding value to my team.
A huge amount of ongoing support and on-going guidance - felt they really had my best interests at heart.
Very busy but I liked the fast pace and didn't feel overwhlemed by it.
I did feel I had a responsibility to do well and be prepared - for my team and for myself.
Above all I feel effective communication and presentation was hugely improved and is something I can take back with me for the future, in particular recognising my audience and being aware of how I come across to others.
The Company
Great personalities in the office with real humour and fun, although work was serious and needed to be efficient so hence there was a compromise here.
Very little room for improvement at all - has been running for many years and is now almost seamless. We were given extensive training and on-going support and feedback to really maximise both our performance and what we took away from the internship.
We had multiple tlaks from the Global CEO, EMEA CO-CEOs. I was extremely surprised that so much time was taken to organise the program so efficiently and to show how much they valued us and wanted to see real improvement over the 10 weeks.
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Healthcare from home
Very appealing although I have 2 years left of University so nothing is certain yet. I would definitely want to work here in the future though.
The Culture
Very good rapport and became close friends with many.
Very high - Central London. Found student accommodation for a reasonable price though.
Great - although during the week I only ever went for dinner as I wanted to be on top of my game.
Yes although I was generally busy with little free tme as that was the nature of the job. The job was the real focus but there were many organised events and opportunities to spontaneously do something either with the team or other interns to really experience life in the City.
