The Role
Overall good but occasionally lacked direction
As my experience/knowledge grew I felt like a useful member of the team
Guidance was occasionally lacking but in general it was as expected.
Sometimes lacked tasks to do. Especially during periods when managers/supervisors were on holiday. Was generally given work when I sought it out though.
I was put in charge o a couple of product defects and went to visit a client on my own.
Good skills in technologies that I wouldn't have used at uni
The Company
Pleasant but busy atmosphere.
I was treated like a normal graduate starter.
Attended some training courses but not a large investment outside of the graduate starting course where I was put up in a hotel for a week. This was just down to my role though. Other placement/internship students had a large investment.
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
Healthcare from home
Got a job offer for when I graduate
The Culture
