The Role
It was an incredible internship with great exposure to senior leadership and responsibilities.
My colleaugues were geniunely interested in my studies and my skill set and they were all incredibly friendly and supportive throughout.
Management are there for you all day for questions/quieries/worries/comments and encourage a constant dialogue.
I never felt bored or like I didn't have any work to do. I also never felt so busy that I couldn't cope. I was constantly challenged and always had plenty on, but it was a nice adrenaline that made the day go very fast!
I was given work to complete alone to support a team, just like all the other employees. It was the real life day to day work and I felt like I was adding value constantly.
The skills, training and responsibility has given me the drive to complete my degree and interact with people socially as well.
The Company
I was in a huge office with lots of people. You have to be incredibly professional and hard working so 'fun' is not the right word but I genuinely came home after each day with a smile on my face and I felt I was with friends as well as colleagues.
They had put a huge amount of time into the internship programme, it was very structured but also gave you lots of flexibility.
Many of the employees are 'career coaches' who really focas on your development and training. I never felt unsupported.

It is made clear that if you impress throughout the internship you will be guaranteed a job. They want to offer you employment at the end after all they have invested in you and will support you to achieve your goals throughout. With this encouragement though, comes a great deal of personal accountability and responsibility and you have to genuinely enjoy it and produce impecible work to succeed.
The Culture
It wasn't majorly social but I was in a small division.
Central London is expensive but the salary takes this into account and I am a student in London anyway.
Central London... amazing!
Many opportunities within the firm and outside as well.
