The Role
I reall enjoyed my placement, the people were friendly and made me feel welcome.
I did feel part of my team. I realies I was not the most experienced ut they gave me oppertunities.
My manager gave a lot of support. They were really understanding and helpful.
Sometimes I was busy , other times not so much but thats what I expected.
I was given responsbility, but nothign too critical which is understandale being only a summer intern. However I could have handled more.
I was in a very specific business area which required specialist expertise. Having said this, it has helped me develop business skills that I can take forward to ay other job.
The Company
A friendly atmosphere. Everyone got along with each other.
Very well organised, there were many networking events and oppertunities to volunteer that made hte entire experience more enjoyable and worthwile.
A lot of investment. We had finacial training, lectures, so many resources to help us develop. Th ehelp was limitless.
This internship leads to a graduate position offer. Very appealing.
The Culture
Yes. Th einterns were very sociable and every week there was an oppertunity to go out or play sports.
Cost of living was high as this was in London. Hoever, the further out yo ulive the cheaper it gets. But comparitively it is expensive.
the nightlife was great I heard. however, i did not get involved too much myself.
I was in the center of London so there were many oppertunities to get involved.
