The Role
Great company with a fantastic ethos and work atmosphere.
Valued most of the time. Being on an internship, my short time there meant I could have been valued more on some more complex tasks.
The support and guidance varied according the the person, but was really good from the majority of people. From the people closest on my team I was given a lot of support
I always had things to do. If it wasn't client/project work, there were other tasks to be doing as an intern. This was really appreciated.
Quite a lot. It varied from being given the responsibility of building a model which was then sent out to a client to just doing admin tasks.
There was loads of room to improve hard skills eg excel and powerpoint, as well as soft skills like people skills with the client. PwC was really open to us setting up our own presentation sharing session.
The Company
The team was great and this meant we could always have jokes. Being on client site, we did have to remain professional, but this was not dull.
Very well organised, from the meticulously planned hotel induction right through the projects we were allocated on. I think they could have organised more social events at night for the interns to meet other people.
They invested a lot of time and money into their interns. This was shown through various days set up as well as the hotel induction.
Sports and Social Club
Have been offered a job and will more than happily take it.
The Culture
It was good, we did quite a lot. However we organised this ourselves - whilst PwC strongly encouraged a good social scene, the company could have helped us set up more itself.
I lived at home so I was lucky. Transport and bars were expensive though!
Really good - there were loads of places.
There was loads, from sport to bars to community days.
