The Role
Extremely enjoyable, great people to work with along with the other interns too.
I had quite a large team but I knew everyone really well and was invited to many socials. They did all they could to ensure I was part of the team, and even went out their way to give me advice on how to improve my chances of getting the job. I felt as if they really wanted me to get it.
The amount of support received at PwC is amazing, as I could go up to at least someone at all times and ask them for help when needed. I also had regular meetings/chats throughout to make sure everything was going well.
Most days I had enough work to keep me going throughout the day and I always had the chance to ask for less or more work as needed. You are given a bit of responsibility in finding work for yourself although I did not need to. The days where I did not have enough work which was uncommon I always had other tasks/projects I could do.
You can't expect to get a lot of responsibility but if you wish to have more you can always ask. The tasks you are doing will need to be done by graduates, which means you do make a difference.
Practical experience is so much better than what we read at university and makes things a lot easier when you cover them having experienced.
The Company
Very lively, not like I expected at all.
This is one of the best things I found about the internship. It was always planned so well, with us to experience so much more. We not only complete work at out desks, but we had training during the first week, and other projects throughout.
We had residential training at the start.

The Culture
Yes we had a lot of formal socials and chances to meet with other interns and we also planned our own.
