  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • A fantastic experience to get to know more about the industry I'm interested in

    • Even though I didn't do the most important tasks, my colleagues invited me to meetings and events to let me understand more of the bigger picture, which was very appreciated

    • At Goldman Sachs, it is in the team's interest that everyone performs well, and therefore everyone helps the interns to succeed.

    • The hours have been a pain sometimes but it's worth it when you're learning all the time

    • Much more than I thought from the beginning

    • Since I study business and finance, the internship has helped me to further develop my skills

    • There is so much going on, every day is different and you learn all the time

    • We were provided with buddies, mentors, "sponspors" and programme captains, but in addition to that you're always encouraged to talk to people and get to know interesting persons within the firm

    • Offers will be provided after the internship and I'm hoping I will be one of the lucky ones!

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • They (HR) emphazised that the "interns do not compete with each other" from day 1, and the culture is very friendly

    • Housing is so expensive in London
