The Role
A fantastic experience to get to know more about the industry I'm interested in
Even though I didn't do the most important tasks, my colleagues invited me to meetings and events to let me understand more of the bigger picture, which was very appreciated
At Goldman Sachs, it is in the team's interest that everyone performs well, and therefore everyone helps the interns to succeed.
The hours have been a pain sometimes but it's worth it when you're learning all the time
Much more than I thought from the beginning
Since I study business and finance, the internship has helped me to further develop my skills
The Company
There is so much going on, every day is different and you learn all the time
Extremely well organised
We were provided with buddies, mentors, "sponspors" and programme captains, but in addition to that you're always encouraged to talk to people and get to know interesting persons within the firm
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
Healthcare from home
Offers will be provided after the internship and I'm hoping I will be one of the lucky ones!
The Culture
They (HR) emphazised that the "interns do not compete with each other" from day 1, and the culture is very friendly
Housing is so expensive in London
Very good however I didn't have so much time to go out
