The Role
The company has a great atmosphere, which really adds to the enjoyment of the work.
Everyone at J.P. Morgan is happy to speak with you and share their experiences.
My manager was very helpful and ensured that i was given guidance and feedback.
Mostly busy, but some times there was less work available, though my team generally has less work during the summer months.
I took ownership of a number of client tasks and was able to take part and charge of certain pportunities, such as Children in Need, and the JP Morgan quizz night.
Became much more confident and relaxed in a business environment. helped develop business language and acumen and generally gave me a better idea of the industry and its challenges and rewards.
The Company
My team especially has a very cavalier attitude. As long as the works done, then it's okay if you arrive late or leave early, just not too frequently.
Very well organised. A number of activities to join in in and around London and definitely a feeling that there's a good base of support behind you.
Development on a team level, but nothing specifically intern wide. So personal training solely depends on the discretion of the team.
Flexi Time
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
There has been mention that future prospects are available and Human Resources have said that they will support an application from the Intern class in the future and fastrack them through the Graduate process.
The Culture
Everyone seems to be pretty similar. Very aware of the need to do their work, but also happy to have fun in the evenings.
Expensive, but worth it.
Good, depending on where you go out in London.
Yes, I've taken a part in the Children in Need J.P. Morgan Asset Management team and there are other philanthropic activities abvailable.
