The Role
I loved it. I loved the people, the culture and the work!
I'm very happy with my team - most teams either go out for drinks a couple of nights a week, or have team lunches etc. Everyone is very accommodating.
If I wanted help, I only just had to ask. You post (report) to your manager all the time, and s/he will give amazing feedback - you've just got to listen and learn
Very busy. Meetings all the time, but i never stayed late once in the internship.
They gave me all the responsibility. My performance is up to me, of course you will need help, but you need to ask for it and everyone is willing to accommodate.
I have learnt so much during this internship, they really care about your personal development. The amount I've learnt in 10 weeks is amazing!
The Company
Fantastic, everyone has fun with their job. Obviously it's not perfect, no job is, but most of the time we're having great fun.
It was really well organised, they provided lots of events with senior partners and MDs for the interns, and we even had a presentation from Lloyd!
Everything. They gave us training days, they give us access to the GS University, and the people here are fantastic. I've learnt so much by just talking to people around me. Everyone here is just so smart.
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Healthcare from home
I've been recommended for a job, but of course we have to wait on headcounts.
The Culture
We went to the pub most days, always fridays.
Really depends where you live.
Not great, but there's the tube so it's never far away
There are opportunities, but they're not readily available. you need to go searching for the,
