The Role
I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
I immediately felt like I was part of the team and integrated in well.
My manager was fantastic in supporting me with my work. I faced many challenges and she was great at ensuring they were solved to the best of my ability.
I was generally very busy. There was the odd occasion with less to do, but that would be expected.
I had my own project which was all my own responsibility. It was a challenge but I thrived on having such responsibility.
The skills I have learnt will be invaluable in the future, in both my studies and in future roles. On top of what I learnt day-to-day I was given training programmes, such as presentation skills, which will be essential in the future.
The Company
Whilst everybody works hard in the office, there is still a fun and friendly atmosphere, but this is balanced well with determination and hard work.
It was very well organised.
The training, such as presentation skills have been highly beneficial. The only thing I think we could have benefitted from would be a CV skills workshop.
Flexi Time
Subsidised/Company Gym
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Good opportunities.
The Culture
Yes we mixed well and socialised as much as possible.
Relatively cheap.
Average - but fine with the right group of people
