The Role
There was a real sense of prestige working in the Central Bank, and you read about where you work everyday in the news!
Everyone made it very clear how important my work was during the internship.
Support was there, but learning for yourself and using your own initiative were by far more important.
Due to being given a large responsibility, how you organised yourself dictated how busy you were/needed to be.
This was what I enjoyed the most, it was made clear to me how I organised myself would determine how I get on.
Key computer (excel) skills, improved communication skills, and overall always be prepared to take matters into your own hands.
The Company
Very friendly!
Everything was made pretty clear on our first day how the internship would work/what they expect of the interns.
Outlook and Presentation skills training were good events.
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Can apply for another internship to be sponsored for a masters, or get a graduate job offer (a scheme that lasts 3 years).
The Culture
Drinks every Thursday organised by the interns!
London prices...
Didn't do much of this
