  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • There was a real sense of prestige working in the Central Bank, and you read about where you work everyday in the news!

  • Everyone made it very clear how important my work was during the internship.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Support was there, but learning for yourself and using your own initiative were by far more important.

  • Due to being given a large responsibility, how you organised yourself dictated how busy you were/needed to be.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • This was what I enjoyed the most, it was made clear to me how I organised myself would determine how I get on.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Key computer (excel) skills, improved communication skills, and overall always be prepared to take matters into your own hands.

  • Very friendly!

  • Everything was made pretty clear on our first day how the internship would work/what they expect of the interns.

  • Outlook and Presentation skills training were good events.

  • Can apply for another internship to be sponsored for a masters, or get a graduate job offer (a scheme that lasts 3 years).

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Drinks every Thursday organised by the interns!
