The Role
Very exciting opportunitis. Great place to meet people and network.
The team was very close knit and it was so easy to talk to everyone.
My managers were extremely busy people and you need to ask the right questions to get their advice. Especially about future careers and opportunities, you need to know what you want, nobody is there to babysit you.
Some days were extremely busy, maniac, and some days were slow...like any other job.
You need to look out for opportunities to contribute to projects and ask to be put on it, unless you will end up doing the boring boring stuffs. I asked to be involved in specific projects early on, so I was never bored.
Developed my skills massively, My employees put me in touch with other employees to further my career, my time management, writing and communicating skills improved greatly. I was always working on a variety of projects so had a variety in my internship.
The Company
There was always an event. There was always chatter, noise, and movement around. It might be a bit daunting for a very quiet, introverted person.
The HR Team set up the internship extremely well. Organisation was good, but you really need to come in and know what you want from the internship and work towards that because the time goes very fast.
There were loads of trainings on interviews, presentation, networking skills, etc...Depending on how your team is set up, it might be a bit problematic for you to attend most of the sessions.

Company Parties/Events
Some departments are good at keeping their interns eg Sales and Analytics, Global data etc..other small, Niche ones dont keep on interns. However if you are interested in Finance, Sales or Tech, and have multiple languages, there are always opportunities. It's easy to move to Bloomberg offices in other regiosn aswell, if you are into travelling....
The Culture
There was always a party, just like uni days....
Very expensive, although to learn to bring your packed lunch, eat from the pantry and go to the club early to bag in the free pre drinks....
If you are into clubs, bars, dancing, sports..and have cash to spare...there was always something...
Networking....there is always something, you just have to ask...
