The Role
Highly enjoyable, but would be interesting to explore other areas of the company also
Very valued, 1 on 1 tutorials, meetings and invitation to everything. Kept informed and in the loop as a full-time employee
Guidance was fantastic and whenever I needed help I got it, but equally I was given space to develop my own ideas and projects that came out of my initiative. A perfect balance.
Sometimes I voluntarily came to office early and left late because the workload was heavy, but the work was useful and interesting and I was happy to dedicate it extra time
An amazing amount of trust was placed in me, including contact with and individual presentation to very senior NY HQ management and a big client/prospect pool
Enhanced analytical and software skills, gaining tremendous knowledge about finance and the trading process
The Company
The office is amazing and the people are all so nice and fun
Very well organised, but also given space to deviate and craft my own path
Incredible training, within department 1 on 1
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
Starting on permanent contract straight after internship
The Culture
Very good
Living at home, travel expensive, social = London, expensive in comparison to non-capital cities, but a lot of social events subsidized by the company
Close to everywhere
Sports, community, lots
