The Role
I really enjoyed my time here at Bloomberg. This was a particularly hard time for the business and especially for interns as we didn't have access to much of what we need to carry out a good job. But the company does encourage you to take
It varied throughout my time here. At points the projects that I was given was important for my colleagues so having me working on them made them value me a lot. At points I wasn't needed at all which made me less valuable. But overall I did feel I had a part to play.
I feel here that it's not about how much you are given but about how much you ask! If you're bold enough to keep on pestering for guidance then you'll get it. If not then you might not get that much. The company does give the individual quite a bit of liberty.
Not very.
Varied throughout the internship! Sometimes I got to work for global offices and that was a massive responability. But sometimes I got stuck with mundane unimportant work too!
The particular role I was in didn't really allow me to improve on my language skills but it made me more attentive to details, improved my investigative ability and it made me a lot more diplomatic.
The Company
Very very relaxed! The pressure was never too overwhelming.
Not very due to problems with lack of functionality
Quite a bit in that it allowed me to do whatever I wanted. Shadow whoever I intended and take up as much courses as I wanted! On that basis a lot.

The Culture
