The Role
Was very enjoyable many people my age. Also very interesting and secured a job.
Was often asked to fulfil real, and important, tasks.
Not as much contact and guidance as I thought but it gave me the freedom to create my own solutions.
Sometimes I wasn't as busy as I had imagined.
Real interactions with customers and suppliers.
I slightly changed my degree title after my internship, but the experience is still very relevant. Most skills I developed I will use everyday in my next job.
The Company
Enjoyable environment, but able to focus on the work. There could have been more interns in my particular office than there were.
Room for improvement due to short notice of placement. Overall though rock solid framework.
I was able to set up trips (expenses paid by RR) to any site I wanted. - Which was very beneficial to see the overall company. Personal reviews of my goals helped to keep focus on me.

I am very excited about starting my graduate job.
The Culture
In my region it was quieter. However I did socialise (and live) with the only other intern. Recent graduates in full positions of a similar age were also available to go out with.
Very cheap rent although I think I may have got very lucky! Not rating 10/10 as I often drove home which cost me quite a lot.
Lived in the heart of Coventry and regularly visited Lemmington Spa.
Work bike rides and parties almost every fortnight. Also visited the snowdome in Tamworth.
