The Role
Gained a good insight into the company, and was mostly busy. However some days when the office was quiet were slow with little to do.
Valued by the few people in the office, shadowed various other people briefly so did not build many relationships.
Support was very good however guidance was slightly lacking... had to find my own projects and things to work on.
Sometimes bored, worked on the same project for a long time. Although this allowed me to really get into it so was not necessarily a negative.
Not much. Mainly shadowing others. Would have liked to work on more important projects.
Gained many skills and learnt a lot during the internship.
The Company
Very quiet and small office. Normally only 2-3 people there.
Not much was planned for me before I arrived, I organised most things myself once I started.
Some from line manager, but nothing structured.
Retail Banking grad scheme is very different to internship (in branches not head offices) so unsure.
The Culture
Never did anything social. Very quiet office and most people there did not live locally.
Average to expensive
Good but I only know this as I go to uni here, didn't go out during placement.
Quiet office, most people there did not live locally.
