The Role
Good level of support from my manager and was given a fair amount of responsibility. However volume of work was very varied.
Highly by all colleagues however there were times where it felt like I was a burden, particularly at times when I had nothing to do so I was looking/asking for work
Guidance and support was superb throughout. My manager was excellent with regards to support and guidance with weekly 1 to 1 sessions.
Very varied most of the time I had stuff to do however for large chunks I was sitting doing nothing, there is only so many times you can ask people for work.
A fair amount of responsibility was given. I actively looked for ways to take on more responsibility and it was gratefully given.
This has been a great experience and I have learnt a great deal as a result. You are also given preference for a graduate job providing your manager gives you the a good reference.
The Company
Very relaxed an friendly, I was always walking to other people's desk to talk to them rather than emailing. People brought food into the office for the others and the atmosphere was very laid back; had quite a few non work related conversations with people around me. In all a great place to work.
Didnt seem to be much in the way of organisation, it was more 'your working for her, off you go'. However the support behind the scenes is great and nothing is bad.
Considering as I was only there for 10 weeks it was a great experience. My manager held weekly 1 to 1 sessions to discuss development and there was a day at a central office for all the interns for a network and training day.

Interns are given preference when it comes to graduate role. They made it sound like it was almost guaranteed if you got a good reference from your manager and they had enough places.
The Culture
Made a facebook group to network with fellow interns. I was located in a separate office from most of the others however which wasn't ideal.
Fairly standard
Pretty average
Being only there for 10 weeks in the holiday period there wasn't much available however I got onto the board which organised activities and was able to get involved that way.
