The Role
I was kept active, given responsibility and had fun within the team.
They were welcoming and supportive with any issues. They also passed on work which they knew would be of interest and value to me, not just work they waned to get rid of or to kep me busy.
I was given plenty of time over the internship with management to go over work that I had done and identify any areas that could have been improved.
I worked in a role that varied day to day so there were some days where it could be quite. However there was always work that could be picked up to keep busy if it was a quiet day.
I was given ownership of projects throughout my internship. This work was also of value to the business so it felt worthwile.
I learnt plenty of technical skills which I will be able to apply back to my degree. I also learned the areas which I will like and not like within the business for future reference.
The Company
A friendly team
Kept busy all the time and had the chance to travel to Glasgow, Liverpool and Milton Keynes
No training or personal development given apart from support from line manager on how to do day to day job role
National Travel
There is a strong chance of continuing onto the graduate scheme
The Culture
I lived with parents an hour away from the office so did not get involved in the social side of work apart from on business trips. However I was not made aware of such social opportunities in any case
