The Role
Really enjoyed the experience, really glad I got the opportunity.
All colleagues treated me like I was just a new member of the team. It was really easy just to slot in and get to work.
Everytime I had a question someone was there to answer it, be it the head of the department or line manager.
Always had something to do. Covered for someone on holiday felt like the role was important.
Whilst a colleague was on holiday I covered her work and felt like I was doing something that was relevant for everyone.
Improved Excel skills and hopefully gain more confidence in presenting.
The Company
A good mix between work and fun, easy to have an unrelated chat during breaks.
There was a timetable set up, this showed the different departments I would be part of and when.
There was a good level of clearance in SAP everything I needed access to I could get.
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
I would love to have the opportunity to be part of L'Oreal team on a larger scale.
The Culture
There was not really a social scene in the area of my placement and there was only one other intern.
Petrol money and rent was all i had to pay. The food on site was a good price.
The nightlife in the area I worked was non-existent.
I was lucky enough to be part of a team away day which was brilliant fun!
