The Role
Learnt a lot and felt at ease
Most people welcomed interns and were happy to meet me, some indivduals went out of their way to teach me
My manager was out of the office a lot as he is quite senior
Some days i had nothing to do, others i had lots and was rushed.
Answering customer queries and writing credit reports, very responsible.
Learned a lot, including how to be professional and in an office environment
The Company
Very lively office, perhaps a little too loud sometimes
Bad transition from HR to job, boss didn't know i was coming until a week before and had to chase for my CV
Some individuals were very good, but on the whole there is not much training at Santander, no courses etc
Flexi Time
Company Parties/Events
Very likely to take on interns into grad roles
The Culture
Could have worked on, rarely met up with interns. Was lucky as i found fellow interns when i went for lunch, but otherwise no.
Department good at dinners out and business lunches
No nightlife
A leaving do that's all
