The Role
I really enjoyed working for The Body Shop. The atmosphere at work was really friendly but still professional.
As of the beginning of my placement I have been considered as a real member of the team and have been rapidly involved in the projects.
As my position required strong analytical skills I have been given a good guidance a the beginning of my placement and good follow up afterward.
Even if you definitely need to be able to face pressure and meet tight deadlines, the workload was most of the time well balanced.
My responsibilities increased during the placement. I was given the opportunity to manage my own project.
I learn a lot about analytics and CRM and those skills will still be highly valuable even if i decide to head back to more marketing-oriented missions in the future.
The Company
We worked in a huge open-space and the atmosphere was really friendly.
Depending on your professional expectations and how you performed during your placement, you can potentially get a permanent job after the placement.
The Culture
Yes, there was!
The area was Borough Market. A really nice area to socialize afterwork and have nice lunch break close to the Thames etc.
There is a good nightlife, no club but a lot of good pubs with a nice atmosphere.
We used to have a team afterwork drink once a month close to the office.
