The Role
Absolutely loved my placement
My line manager always looked out for me even when I first started she wanted to know I had got home okay. She was amazing to work with and included me in all team meetings.
If I ever needed help they were easy to approach. I feel like I could have talked to them about anything, like a family. They supported me through every decision
At the beginning I did think there was too much work. However we then got a new trainee which has made my job much easier. There is still a lot to do however I feel like I'm in a better position to support my team
I want given enough responsibility for me. I was able to get on with my job and manage my time on my own.
I have leant so much whilst being in placement.
The Company
The atmosphere was relaxed in the office. Everyone is so nice to each other which makes the working day that bit better
The indications set up by head office were abit all over the place. I was going for training in the warehouse 2 months after I had started. However he induction day was really helpful to help me settle in
I was able to boost my confidence and presentation skills.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
I would love to come back
The Culture
I know a couple of girls from university who work there. One of which was a placement student from my class. There are plenty of placement students so the social scene is good.
I commute from home so I only really had to pay for pertrol
There's nightlife in skelmersdale?
There was always something going on most weekends
