About You
Everyone was really friendly and eager to answer questions, the days were all really varied, and I got to experience lots of different aspects of the job.
Everyone was very friendly, the lady I worked for had clearly gone to alot of effort to plan out each of my days, and I felt like they all wanted me to do well at the interview and were gunning for me to get the job!
Lots of people gave me advice for the senior interview, and also told me about their experiences, and the routes they had taken to get where they were.
It was really useful to talk to people who were a couple of years ahead of me, and had done this process a couple of years ago, and get their advice and tips.
The Company
Every day was really well organised, and I was never bored or had nothing to do!
Really great! Everyone was pretty cheerful and sociable, and although it was a short insight it was easy to settle in and feel comfortable chatting to everyone!
They really tried to give me a taste of everything, and show me what the job was really like, and then they hired me at the end!
I felt like I got a really good insight into what it would be like, people weren't afraid to tell me about the negatives as well as the positives.
It was explained really rigorously, and by attending meetings I was able to see exactly how things worked and what was expected of employees.
I loved every minute, and it confirmed for me that this was what I wanted to build a career in.
Everything Else
Because it was quite a lot of money paid for a short period, most of it was taken in tax, but I'll be able to claim it back in April, and i still had enough to reimburse my expenses in the mean time!
Yes, I attended a specific networking event, and also met a lot of other employees in different meetings, so my linked in is looking very healthy!
Very well organised and good fun!
It seemed really sociable, and for new graduates there are lots of organised social events, as well as opportunities to meet other people at your university who will be joining PwC.
It was really useful and really great fun, with the opportunity to get a job offer!
