The Role
The internship was great and exceeded my expectations in terms of work opportunities and involvement in different types of projects.
I felt valued by my colleagues and was involved in various projects throughout the internship.
The Buddy and People Manager assigned to me were very helpful throughout the placement. The managers and/or supervisors also explained jobs thoroughly and answered any queries. The supervisors also took time to teach certain skills if necessary.
I was quite busy but there was no pressure to stay till late and work overtime. The people in our team tried to get junior members involved to keep us busy.
The responsibility given was adequate and work was reviewed by superiors.
I developed valuable communication skills thorugh working in teams as well as attending and presenting in a client meeting. I also deleoped technical skills and knowledge and commercial awareness by working on a wide range of projects all of which will be useful for my studies as well as beyond.
The Company
The atmosphere was very friendly,
The internship was well organised with training in the first week as well as training sessions during the rest of the internship.
The firm invested a lot in personal training on the job as well as through training sessions.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
I am yet to hear above the outcome of the internship. However, it would surely be a great firm to work for.
The Culture
The social scene was great with social events organised by interns as well as our team.
As I am located in the London office the cost of living is high.
There were many opportunities to get invloved in social events outside work.
