  • The work environment was very friendly and i believe i was given vey useful experiences and responsibilities.

    4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • The team and employees were really friendly and helpful. There was also a good humour amongst the staff and i felt very at ease to be myself and voice my opinions openly.

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • I feel i could have been given more support and guidance, especially at the start when i lacked confidence in using the computer systems. My manager was quite busy most of the time and therefore didn't dedicate as much time to training as i would have liked. Also, there was a dramatic change of management over the 3 months and so i didn't have an assistant manager for most of my internship.

    4/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Yes very busy but i preferred to very busy than just sitting around and not doing anything!

    4/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • You were thrown into the deep end quite a bit, but i really enjoyed the challenges i faced. At first, its quite daunting but then you get to grips with it.

    5/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Helped me be more independent and confident. I am definitely more confident in dealing with difficult customers and not letting the pressure get the better of me.

  • Really friendly and happy. I really enjoyed the team i was working with!

    3/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • There was a lack of training as the manager was very busy and there was a change of management throughout my internship.

    4/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • Financial Bonus

    3/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • Yes very appealing. The career progression is very fast once you become a management trainee. It does also depend on your enthusiasm and how pro-active you are.

  • Yes we had a couple of nights out which were really good!
