The Role
I really enjoyed my internship. The people I have met, the insight I have gained and the jobs I have done.
Every single person in the office was very warm and welcoming. You could approach anyone and ask them a question and they'd be more than happy to take time out and have a chat with you.
Support given by management and supervisors was excellent, as I said, more than happy to help with anything.
Balance of work was very good, but sometimes the jobs given to you were slightly boring.
Some of the jobs I was given were vital for the team, so it did involve a lot of responsibility
General soft skills I felt were developed the most, which will help in the future when starting a proper job
The Company
Very relaxed, chilled out
Organisation was good, you were always booked to something.
We underwent a 3 day intensive training programme before we started, and received a lot of training materials which were very helpful throughout the internship
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Excellent
The Culture
Yes, everyone was very sociable, found we were going out a lot for team lunches/drinks/socials
Lived at home, near the office, so relatively cheap
Didn't really go clubbing, but there are countless bars in Manchester so it's rather good
There are opportunities but because you are only there for 6 weeks, it just depends on whats going on at the time
