The Role
The Internship was very enjoyable.
My colleagues ensured that I felt valued. I wasn't treated like the 'intern' but as a valued member of the team.
The support was mainly given by lower members of the team.
I always had work to do. I was working from 9-5.30 every day and sometimes more.
I had the freedom to do what I wanted and this was checked by more senior members of the team.
The skills were extremely transferable.
The Company
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Most of the interns get a graduate job.
The Culture
All of the interns met up at least daily and were very willing to socialise with each other
Living up north meant that accomodation was relatively cheap, I stayed in University halls which offered a very reasonable living cost.
The nightlife wasn't as good as it would have been during university time but there was still lots to do
