The Role
I was integrated into a real audit team, out on the clients site. My views were respected and I got to present them to the client.
My views were respected and my colleagues had a friendly attitutde towards me. The atmopshere was friendly.
My manager was always available and did his best to answer my questions.
Very busy throughout the first 5 weeks, had absolutely nothing to do for the final week. Busy weeks had almost a perfect balance.
Got to talk to clients and openly discuss problems. As much responsibility as is sensible was given to me.
The confidence in approaching people I built up during the internship and the ability to communicate my views will help me for the rest of my career. Quite a lot of hard, Audit Skills were handed over to me.
The Company
Friendly, yet productive atmopshere.
Very well, with a nice induction and inter-meeting days. We were also prepared for our jobs during the induction week.
Dragons Den Challenge, Opportunity to talk to partners, development days...
Dont know yet... Hoping for an offer.
The Culture
Lively social environment, even though I was the only intern in my office.
Hull, fairly cheap.
Hull - not the busiest city in the UK
Internship was relatively short, but opportunities were there.
