The Role
It exceeded my expectations, I felt like I was appreciated and that the work I did was helpful to the team as a whole.
The atmosphere was a warm and friendly one, questions were encouraged and it made the days go by very quickly!
Coaching from all colleagues that worked with me, all were happy to help and friendly.
The balance between learning new skills and develpming them was very good. There were some days when I had less tasks set to me, but there is a system in place to assign me work within about half an hour after letting someone know that I am available for other work.
I was given responsibilities but they were always explained fully to me, and I was given ample opportunity to ask questions along the way.
The skills I learned will help me with any job in the future, and it gave me a very good idea of the kind of things I would be doing should I be chosen for the graduate scheme.
The Company
All employees are encouraged to enjoy the office as a social place as well as a place of work.
All the team members knew roughly what I was able to do, and set me tasks as well as coaching me along the way.
A week long training program at the start of the internship as well as a buddy and people manager set to me personally, so that I always had someone to direct questions to.
