The Role
The people I worked with were really nice. It was a great experience to work within a team on a number of projects and it was a great chance to experience working life while still at university. The prospect of returning to Uni with a job was also a bonus!
I was involved in a project with a team for 4 of the 6 weeks. This meant I got really involve din the work and could add value to the team - this led to them appreciating the work I put in.
I was lucky to be based in one team for a prolonged period so had the chance to work with a number of senior members of staff. Who gave me guidance and supervision throughout.
I have not returned back to University yet.
The Company
We had a full week of training, that included a three day residential training scheme. This was a great chance to meet other interns from around the country and I feel PwC really invested in our training and development. Additionally, we had a development day mid way through the internship and this was a nice break from working life, a great chance to catch up with other interns and also a nice investment in our development.
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Very good, approximately 95% of interns get a graduate job at the end!
