The Role
Worked with a great team and feel like i have been able to really develop my knowledge and skills.
Felt like a huge part of the team as I had quite a few responsibilities. Towards the end as I had learnt so much, I was given a lot more responsibility and felt my input was really valued.
Supervisor was really supportive and always willing to answer any questions.
Some really busy periods but some not so much.
Towards the end I was definately given a lot more responsibility and in fact, didn't feel like an intern at all.
Genuinely believe I will be taking a lot of valuable lessons away with me.
The Company
Can be a bit quiet and uninteractive at times but there were plenty of oppourtunities to socialise at various events.
Could be slightly better as it took a while for systems to be set up and at times, had to do certain processes myself, such as setting up payroll etc.
Had a lot of one-to-one training with supervisor and colleagues.
Subsidised Canteen
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Do not need to go through any more processes to be transferred on to the Graduate programme. If they like me and I like them and they have positions, we will be offered a role.
The Culture
Interns set up a Facebook group and met up on various occasions for drinks/clubbing etc.
Can be quite expensive as in London.
In London so nightlife is good and there's always something going on but can be expensive.
A few oppourtunities involving charity fundraising.
