The Role
I enjoyed it a lot. I think the only drawback was the commute as I really enjoyed my work and the day to day tasks I had to undertake.
Everyone in the team were so friendly. I felt immediately very welcome which made it very sad when it came to the last day!
My boss was always sitting next to me so I could always turn to her if I had any questions or issues.
I was never kicking my heels. I always had something to do and it wasn't just the same task. I had a variety of things to do such as telephone calls and organsing meetings.
Loads of responsibility. I was invited to attend a meeting outside the office 2 days into my placement. I hit the ground running and was expected to keep up which was a challenge but a great experience.
I do a science degree so working in sales and marketing won't help me too much. But if I do become a manager of a technology firm for example, it will be great to have a bit of knowledge about how the sales side of the industry works
The Company
The atmosphere was so friendly and really buzzing on most days. I come from a university with a male-female ratio of 70-30. It was basically reversed here so it was great to experience a less male dominated environment.
Really well organised. There was loads given out at the start and the placement really focused on our personal development. The CV and interview day was extremely useful

Company Parties/Events
They didn't really want me to leave but I'm not too likely to come back as it's not the sector I'd see myself working in in the future. Always an option though!
The Culture
A lot of stuff was organised by the interns. I wasn't too involved though. I would perhaps have been if I was living in London and not commuting.
London is really expensive.
London has amazing nightlife.... but is really expensive.
They have loads of fundraising events which they're always keen to get you involved in
