About You
Very informative, practical and enjoyable in respect to exposure to the various divisions of an Investment Bank.
Highly valued, these people took time out of their demanding professions to network, provide shadowing, answer questions and know much more about you and how to move forward.
Every inch of help needed was at disposal. Nothing was to big/small an issue to be assisted - particularly by HR (and other Firmwide reps)
Rotations on derivatives desks were vital to my practical understanding of certain theory modules, skills sessions were essential to my presentation assessments, and panel discussions strongly aided financial awareness
The Company
Very, very structured - everything was planned down to each quarter of an hour
At times intense, but the bank's culture's vibrant and approachable, very neat
Individual/group presentations, panel discussions, shadowing - all very important to my personal investment and growth
Shadowing could have been much longer - but definitely key to what a FT role is like
shadowing and networking events to know more about the people, diversity and type of work strongly strikes a feel of the culture
Very valuable in terms of confirming the type of people I want to work with
Everything Else
.
Plenty of scope to meet and expand on networks from BofAML divisions - pre-arranged networking sessions everyday (almost)
Very structured, strong balance of time proportioned for socials/networking with time to ask questions from all/most divisions
Employee Networks are undertakings taken particularly serious by the Bank, with talks from even Head of CSR
Absolutely, definitely the place and people i'd love to work with
