The Role
The tasks I was given and the things I had to learn were all very enjoyable, and the atmosphere was great.
I was given responsibilities and the things I worked on were put to use immediately!
My manager and mentor were on hand to answer questions whenever I needed help, and I was given plenty of support and structure whenever I had to learn something new.
Most days I had a great balance of things to do, but there were a few days where I got bored and a few days when I was very busy.
I felt responsible for my own learning, and for the tasks I was given to do.
I learned a lot about programming languages and software development, and also acquired lots of teamwork and communication skills as I had lots of feedback all the time.
The Company
It was the summer, so many people were on holiday and a few weeks were quite quiet. The atmosphere was great with the other interns though!
Everything was very smooth, and being able to stay in the company house meant I didn't have to worry about accommodation.
My manager and mentor had a couple of days of every week timetabled to help me with my training.
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
I was offered a job there.
The Culture
I hung out a lot with the other interns, and had a great deal of fun.
The company had lots of clubs and activities such as sports and board games to get involved with.
